Western Dress Up

Just a reminder that Wednesday, November 22 is Western Dress Up Day. If students do not want to dress up, they are welcome to wear their uniform.

Christmas Decorating Party

On Friday, December 1st, which is a half day, we will be docrating our classroom from 10:15-12:00. I would love to have 4 parents come in and run Art centres and some parents to send Christmas treats to share. Can you help us? Feel free to email me if you can come in or send treats!

Soup Making

On Wednesday, November 29th, we will be making chicken noodle soup together. I am in need of supplies and parent help. Can you help?

We need:

6 carrots

6 stalks of celery

1 rotissere chicken

10 tetra packs of chicken stock

noodles (already covered)

We also need 3 parent helpers from 9-11am.

Spelling Lists for next week

I will introduce the new words on Monday, November 20th and test them on Friday, November 24th.

Playing in the leaves

It was a beautiful Fall day today and we couldn’t resist piling up the leaves and having some fun!

Skating

We had fun at skating yesterday! Thank you to all the parents who popped by to tie skates!

Skating

We will be having our first skating field trip on Thursday, November 16th. The bus will be leaving as close to 8:45 as possible and heading over to Prospera Centre. Please wear playclothes for skating. All students must bring a bike helmet and their skates if they did not pay for rentals. I would love to have some parent help in organizing and tying skates. It should be an adventure!

Short Week

Due to next week being a three day week, we will not be doing a spelling list or reading groups. Take a short break! You deserve it!

Remembrance Day Assembly
