In all of the excitement of a long weekend, I forgot to post the pictures of our Easter Centres on Friday! I hope this Easter weekend is full of family, friends and chocolate!

Year End Field trip

We have been given permission to plan a year-end field trip for the first time in three years! In the past, we have gone to the Get Air tramopline park in Abbotsford for the morning and the Garrison Spray Park for the afternoon. It seems that Get Air trampoline park has closed permanently during Covid. It can be difficult for us to find a location that allows small children to come without an adult per child. Do you have any ideas that could help me in the planning? Please email your suggestions to kevans@highroadacademy.com. I can use all the help I can get!

Easter Egg Colouring

Just a reminder that tomorrow, April 14th, we will be colouring Easter Eggs. Please send two hard boiled eggs to school with your student!

Little Hoopsters and Little Diggers

As our Little Digger and Little Hoopster after school programs continue, we have noticed that many siblings of students involved are staying at school to wait for parents to pick them up. We understand that parents often do not want to make multiple trips to the school. However, parents should be aware that after 3:25 there is no supervision available outside on the playground and in any of the other areas of the school. If an accident happens or an incident occurs, staff members may not be available to help. For student safety, we would encourage parents to tell siblings to stay inside the gym along the walls and wait there or in the front foyer until parents arrive. Alternatively, carpooling may be available so siblings do not have to wait at the school. Thank you for your consideration.
