Field trips!

We have been given the go- ahead to book field trips for after Spring Break! I have lots of plans that I am working through. I hope the last third of the year is full of fun! Stay tuned for details and lots of permission slips to fill out!

Pink Shirt Day

February is a great month for learning about our friends and how to treat each other respectfully.

The term bullying is hard to define and understand for the children and we had good discussion about what a bully is and is not.

We all agree that we want to be kind and caring friends!

Pink Shirt Day

Wednesday, February 23rd is Pink Shirt Day! Feel free to wear as much pink as you can find!

Cold Weather

It is cold out there with the wind chill! Please send a warm coats and mittens as we are playing outside for recess and lunch!

Pink Shirt Day

Wednesday, February 23, 2022, we will celebrate Pink Shirt Day. Students are welcome to wear casual clothes including some pink to bring awareness to bullying and its effects. We will be continuing our talks about friendship and treating others with kindness and respect.

A Fun Valentine’s Day

We had a super fun day in the classroom yesterday! We celebrated with mailing our cards and treats, reading Valentine’s books, dressing up, hot lunch and colourful activities. The energy was very high!

Our theme in Math for February is patterns. We created Valentine’s patterns with colourful beads and pipecleaners.
