That’s a Wrap

As I take apart my classroom, wash everything down and complete a ton of paperwork, I am reflecting on the school year and the children. I am so thankful that covid restrictions were lifted and that we could end the year with field trips and fun. It was lovely to work with you and your children and see them grow, mature and progress. Thank you so much for the lovely cards and gifts. I feel blessed to have worked along side you and look forward to a restful summer before we meet back here at the school for the Fall.

Year End Field trip – Rainy day plans

Oh My! What crazy weather we have been having for June! I have so many moving parts for this field trip that my head is twirling!

I will step out of the movie theatre at 11:30 and check the weather. If it is pouring, we will make the decision to head back to the school and eat our pizza. We will monitor the weather and decide if we can do a 1:30-2:30 play at the spray park in the rain or not…..

If you were planning on meeting us at the spray park, you can phone the school at noon and they can let you know if our plans have changed.

Pray for sun! We want to enjoy our whole day the way we have planned it!

Last Day of School

Friday, June 17th is our last day of school. It is a half day and our students will be dismissed at noon. Could you send a plastic bag or an empty backpack to fill up with our school treasures?

Field trip Plan

Here is a field trip plan for June 16th!

It’s hard to believe that we are at the end of the year, but here we are!

9:00 – Leave HRA

9:30 – Arrive at Cottonwood 4 Cinemas

noon- head to Garrison Spray

12:15 – Eat pizza for lunch

12:30 – Spray park play

2:30 – leave for HRA

** if it’s raining heavily, we will head back to HRA and eat our pizza at the school and head to the Garrison Spray Park around 1:00 for a shorter play in the rain.

** Can you send your student with their bathing suits on under their clothes to help us with the craziness of changing?

Pizza Pick – up Help Needed

Are there any parents who are planning to join us at the Garrison Spray park on Thursday, June 16th? I have pizza being delivered to the school at noon that needs to be brought to the Garrison spray park. Can someone help us out?

Fun Day 2022

We had a wild and crazy morning of fun at Fun Day. Here is some evidence:

Knight Days

The admin team has decided that we will finish the school year in Knight Wear. June 15-17 will be casual Knight Days! I can’t believe how fast the end is coming!

A Classroom Visitor

After two and a half years of no classroom visitors, we had a visitor today! We had an author come and share her new book with us! She read to us, inspired us to be writers and shared a Lego puzzle with us.

Fun Day

Tomorrow will be another great day! The chidren are invited to wear their Knight Shirts and comfy bottoms. As rain is in the forecast, we have both an indoor and outdoor plan.

There has been some confusion that it is a half day tomorrow, but it is a FULL day!

Cheam Wetlands

We had an amazing day at the Cheam Wetlands. The weather was amazing. We had a picnic lunch, a 1.5km walk and some ice cream. I was so proud of the kids on the walk. The scenery was breath- taking! The icecream was delicious, as well. A great big thank you to my parent helper and a wonderful Grandma helper!
