We will be having our Primary Christmas Concert on Friday, December 16th at 10:30am. We are working hard on our songs and looking forward to performing for you.

Grade 1 students will be part of the Primary Choir and are asked to wear all black or all navy.

Poinsettia Sales

We are having a poinsettia sale in the school foyer today and Monday after school. All proceeds go towards missions.

Celebrations Around the World

We began a new Socials Unit on Celebratioins Around the World. Today we learned about Hanukkah. Ask your student if they learned anything about Hanukkah!

Robert Munsch

We are now finished our Robert Munsch Unit. We read 54 Robert Munsch books!

Read Alouds

We are in a big push to get all of the students reading! Each child is at a different level. You will see books coming home each week: Learning Assistance books and leveled readers. Please allow the students to read the books aloud to you multiple times throughout the week. This will be so helpful in moving us forward! Thank you for your support!

December Dates

We have 4 weeks of school left before our vacation and they are jam- packed with fun! Here are some dates and information to add to your calendar:

December 1 – Salvation Army food drive begins – monetary donations are preferred

December 1 – Grade 1 decorating party

December 2 – report cards go home

December 8 – Missions Funraiser

-order donuts/cookies from Munch-a-lunch- by December 2

December 14 – Christmas Sweater day

December 15 – 4-12 Christmas Concert 6:30pm

December 16 – K-3 Christmas Concert 10:30am

-dismissal at 11:30am

Starting today all students may wear Christmas accessories with their uniforms: socks, tights, head bands etc
