Games Afternoon

Thank you so much for all the parents who came out to play games with us! I have not had that many parents willing to come in since before covid restrictions and it touched my heart so much! Another big thank you to the parents who sent in popcorn. We have lots left over for other treat days! The smiling and noisy children suggest that fun was had!

October Theme

Our theme for the month of October is pumpkins. Here are a few of our projects:

3 Dimensional Shapes

In Math this month, we have been learning about 3D shapes. For our final lesson, we built shapes out of marshmallows and toothpicks.

Spelling Lists

Here are the new Spelling lists for the week of October 30th. I will introduce the words on Monday, October 30th and test them on Friday, November 3rd. Grade Ones will begin Spelling this week.

Grade 1: the, good, last, do, did, fish, odd, hill, hit, step

Grade 2: bread, child, star, day, wall, milk, hair, shot, floor, land

Philippines Fundraiser

On November 6th, we will be having a Philippines fundraiser for our High School missions team. They will be serving a hot lunch and we will be having a $2 pay to wear casual day. The deadline for ordering hot lunch in October 30th on our Munch a Lunch app.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

On November 15th we will be having Parent/Teacher interviews from 10:30-5:30pm. School will not be in session. I would love to meet with each family.
