Planners

There are lots of new things that are happening for these Grade Ones as they grow and mature! Planners came home today for the first time! They carefully filled them out themselves. I will sign them each day and ask that you sign them each night and send them back to school each morning. If this is your first Planner, you can sign in the space that I do. If you want to ask me a quick question, it is a great place to jot it down as I sign them every morning.

Pencil Crayons

We are going to be shifting into some new things in the next week! Today was the move from crayons to pencil crayons! It’s so exciting!

Poinsettia

We were blessed this week with a beuatiful poinsettia to brighten up our classroom! Thank you!

Christmas Costumes Needed

Just a reminder that we will be filming our Primary Christmas concert on Monday, November 30th. Our class needs to come to school dressed as Mary and Joseph.

Spelling List

New Spelling words for next week. I will introduce them on Monday, November 30th and test them on Friday, December 4th.

Christmas Cards

I am looking for 5 Christmas cards for a craft that I would like to do with the kids. If you save your old Christmas cards, would you consider letting us use them?

Parent Videos

Thank you to all of the parents who have sent me videos of their work! There are a few people that I have yet to communicate with. I am blessed by your response and I know the children will enjoy seeing you on video! I will be emailing you in the next day or two!

Chapel video

We started doing a covid friendly Chapel twice a month starting at the beginning of November. The Grade 1s sit alone as they have no cohort class. On the other side of the Chapel sit the Grade 1/2 and Grade 2 cohort group. Here is a little clip of our worship this morning!
