Knight Day

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, September 27th is Knight Day and hot lunch if you pre-ordered it.

Toonies for Terry

Just a reminder that today, Thursday, September 26th is Toonies for Terry! Please bring your toonies to school. We will do our run in the gym as it is very wet outside today!

Family Unit

We are finishing up our Family Unit. Thank you to the families that sent in photos of family and pets. We enjoyed getting to know you better!

Criminal Record Checks

I was reminded today as I re-read through our Fieldtrip Policy that all parents and Grandparents who wish to come with us on our fieldtrips must have a valid criminal record check. We have lots of fun fieldtrips planned for Grade One and you might want to come along! Here is some info that you may find helpful:

• If you did a criminal record check for your child when they were in Kindergarten, it will still be valid. Criminal record checks are valid for two years.
• If you do not know when your criminal record check expires or if you have one, the office can look it up for you.
• If you need to have one completed, please email the office and they will prepare a letter for you to drop off at the police station. There is no cost to you.
• If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
