Pink Shirt Day

We had a great Pink Shirt Day yesterday. There was lots of positive talk about being a good friend, standing up for others and how to solve social problems.

It’s Time to Say Goodbye!

We have grown to love our new friend from Korea in the last eight weeks. We are sad to say goodbye tomorrow!

Pink Shirt Day

Just a reminder that Pink Shirt Day is tomorrow, February 26th. If you are in need of pink shirts, I noticed on the weekend that London Drugs was carrying the official Pink Shirt Day t shirt for $9. This is a voluntary dress up day and some of the boys are a bit unsure if they want to wear pink. They are very welcome to come in their uniforms if they are more comfortable doing that!

Pink Shirt Day

On Wednesday, February 26th, we will be celebrating Pink Shirt Day. Students may wear casual clothes and pink shirts. We will spend time during the day talking, reading and doing activities that remind us the importance of being kind and treating all students with respect.

Celebrating our learning

The first half of our year is over! How can that be? Yesterday we talked about what we have learned so far this year and what we would like to learn in the rest of the year. We celebrated with an extra playtime out in the sun. We have also been gifted a small amount of money for our classroom and have decided on some new Art supplies. I am so proud of the good learning that has taken place this year and look forwad to what the Spring holds for us!

New Toys

It is always fun when we get new toys for the classroom!

Math Mayhem

Just a reminder that tonight is Math Mayhem at 6:30pm. The high school students have been creating math games for us to play. Come on out and have some fun playing games together!
