On Friday we did some tulip art using pastels, paint and pencil crayons.

May Dates

It is hard for me to believe that we are moving so quickly towards the end of the year. Here are our May dates to add to your calendar:

May 4 – Super Hero Dress up day

May 7 – Knight Day

May 14 – Knight Day

May 19 – Field trip – Cheam Wetlands/Kent’s Icecream

May 21 – Pro D Day

May 24 – Victoria Day – No School

May 28 – Knight Day

Blue Heron Reserve

We are excited to go on our first field trip this week on Thursday, April 29th. We will be at the Blue Heron Reserve for a “Hectic Herons” tour from 1-2pm. This is a rain or shine field trip so please help the children to dress for the weather. Students are welcome to wear playclothes to suit the weather.

Parents are welcome to join us at the Blue Heron Reserve at 1pm. The Blue Heron Reserve has sent in their covid safety plan to the school and they will require all adults to wear a mask for the duration of the tour. Please keep this in mind as we will need to honour their covid plans.

Spelling Words

There will be no Spelling Test next week due to the Pro D Day on Friday!

The sun has made for such wonderful outside playtimes! We are so thankful for the break from the rain!

New Phonograms

We have now introduced all 70 phonograms! I am so proud of the work that we have done this year with our phonograms. Here is a little video for you to help you practice them at home. These ones are the most challenging!
