Pizza Date change
If you have ordered pizza for Wednesday, November 15th, you may have realized that the school is closed for parent/teacher interviews. Pizza day has been changed that week and your student will receive their pizza on Thursday, November 16th. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We were supposed to go bowling on October 30th and the field trip was cancelled because our bus is not working. I thought that maybe we could substitute a games afternoon in place of the field trip.
Are there any parents who would be able to bring a game and come and play with us on Monday, October 30th from 1:30-2:30?
If you are unable to join us, would you conside sending some popcorn in?

Our memory verse for October is Psalm 23:1-6. Grade 1s will be doing verses 1-4 and Grade 2s up to verse 6. Here is the version that we are using in class so that you can practice along at home.
Psalm 23:1-6
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. (2) He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. (3) He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. (4) Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (5) You prepare a table before me in the prescence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. (6) Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life. and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Pumpkin Patch
We had so much fun on our first field trip! The weather was glorious and the children were so well behaved! Greendale Acres was beautifully maintained and ran smoothly. Thank you to all of the parents that came out to share the experience with us! Often the pumpkin patch is a very rainy experience so I was very thankful for the sunshine! Here are a few photos of our time at the pumpkin patch:
