Christmas Decorating Party

On December 1, from 1-3pm, we will be having a Christmas Decorating Party to kick off the Christmas season in Grade 1. I am in need of 3 parents to come in and help with a center and 3 parents to send treats. If you are able to help out or send treats, feel free to send me an email.

I can’t believe that we are moving towards Christmas already!

Forest Habitats

We are finishing up a Science Unit on Forest Habitats. I thought I would show you some of our Art. We are getting ready to move on to a Space Unit.

Remembrance Day Ceremony

We are excited to have a Remembrance Day Ceremony tomorrow at 10:30am. You are welcome to join us! Each student will be given a poppy to wear. If you would like to send in a donation, the office will gratefully accept it!

Building Geometric Solids

We are just finishing up our unit on geometric solids and we built a few shapes with toothpicks and marshmallows: cube, pyramid, triangular prism, and rectagnular prism.

Scholastic Book Fair

We are having our first bookfair since before covid next week – November 15-17! Parents and kids are able to purchase items before and after school. Parents, you are able to come in for your interview and look at books in peace if you are wanting to buy for Christmas!
