I sent home last year’s comfort kits this week with a letter on how to update them. Although we always hope that there will not be a need for them, we realize the need to be prepared! If you could return your refreshed Comfort Kit by October 4th, that would be fabulous!

On Wednesday, September 22nd, HRA will be doing their annual Terry Fox Run. Students are invited to bring a toonie to donate to the Terry Fox Foundation. All students will participate in a class run together on the school field.

Just a clarification on our morning drop off: the school will be open at 8:55am for students to come in, get their stuff in their lockers and come into the classrooms to be ready for the day. If you need to drop off earlier, students are free to head out to the playground where there will be supervision until 8:55 when the students will be welcomed into the building. If it is raining heavily, students will go to the gym through the back entrance across fron the field. If you have any questions, feel free to email!

My name is Kim Evans and I have been teaching at Highroad Academy for 20 years! Wow, how the time flies!
