Cheam Wetlands
Just a reminder that we have a field trip tomorrow to the Cheam Wetlands and Kent’s icecream. Children should wear playclothes and dress for the weather just in case it’s raining! It’s hard to know at this point!

We are very excited about our farm field trip tomorrow! Unfortunately, the weather does not look like it wants to cooperate for us! We will go rain or shine, but it will be very important to dress for the rain so that we can have a fun time in the rain. Boots and a raincoat are a must!
We will leave the school at 10:45am. The property can be a bit hard to find and if you would like to join us, you are welcome to follow the bus up. We may return early if we are soaked and unhappy.
The address of the farm is 48688 Elkview Road – the driveway is gravel and you can stay to the right and follow it up to the lake. We will use the lake as our meeting place.
I hope to see you there!

One of the big pleasures of teaching Grade One is seeing the children become readers and writers. We have completed our Story Unit and the stories are delightful. I have created a Writing Portfolio for each child so you can see their progression! It will be coming home soon!
