Birthday Party Blues

We have not had to chat about birthday parties for a bit because of Covid, but now that people are beginning to have birthday parties again, it may be time to talk about it. When birthday party invitations are handed out at school and some children get invites and others don’t, it is very disappointing and makes learning a challenge when melt downs occur. Our handbook says that birthday invites are only to be handed out at school if there is an invitation for every child. Thank you so much for honouring our policy and helping to keep our learning atmosphere inclusive.
